About the Library

The Wichita County Library was built in 1958 after originally being located in the Courthouse.

The library collections include:

  • Adult Fiction
  • Adult Non-Fiction
  • A newly created Young Adult collection
  • A growing Children’s collection.

The library also offers a variety of media including adult Audio CDs, and adult and children’s DVDs. The library also offers Interlibrary Loan if what you are looking for is not in the library’s collection.

The Library Director, Amy Nichol, and staff member Irene Aramburu, are happy to answer any questions and help you in any way possible!
